✞ Aleatories#273 - White Apocalypse ✞ ⒸNemmesea« Atttibution

Context of the image: Completely snowy scene with light snowflakes falling. I wanted to reflect the cold effect with the colours, filters and lights.

Each of the characters refers to the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse: 

-In front is Death, with its putrid appearance and the butterflies evoking the souls torn from life. With each step he leaves piles of corpses on the snow.

-Behind him: Hunger, with a scale in his hand, face covered and the horse reflecting this lack of food, with its mask and chains.

-To the side and in front: War. He carries a sword in his hand and his position is ready to finish off anyone who crosses his path.

-On the left, in the background of the whole scene, emerging from the clouds and the rays of light: Victory, on the back of his beautiful white horse. Its glow and the divine touch of its crown, want to evoke that at the end of a tireless fight, victory arrives. It could also be the crudest reflection of the change of season and that hard road of winter, until it reaches its end.

"Fantasy will always be something alive, in our souls and hearts, driven by the engine of imagination.

The spiritual winter makes us stronger, touching death, just like the phoenix, going hungry, counting our "bread", to be able to fight and achieve the most absolute victory. Anyone who does not find that strength will perish like the rest, in the snow, by the most deadly enemy".
